Who we are

Our role
Vinayak Clouds Inc. is the data controller for account, organization and usage data. For the order, client and payment records an organization stores in its workspace, that organization decides what is stored and we process it on its behalf.
Data we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash, two-step sign-in settings); organization details (name, address, phone, timezone); workspace content (orders, client records, payments, files, notes); support and contact messages; technical data (IP address, device and browser details, sign-in and usage logs); questions shoppers send to a brand's product assistant.
Why we use it
To create and secure accounts, provide the service, send service emails (sign-in, invitations, daily summaries, billing alerts), prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests and improve the product.
Legal basis
Performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where we ask for it.
Who we share it with
Service providers that host and run the service (cloud hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, AI processing for the shopper assistant); Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling subscriptions, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing; professional advisers (legal, accounting); and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep data while your account or organization is active. Deleted orders and files are purged after 30 days. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised; backups age out on our provider's schedule.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, private file storage with short-lived links, per-organization access controls, role-based permissions and optional two-step sign-in.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent and raise a grievance. Contact jatin@vinayakclouds.com; we respond within 30 days.
